7. Relocate the large plugs from
the inside of the fairing braces
to the outside of the fairing
braces.

8. Remove the (4) rubber
grommets from the top of the
factory radio.

9. Remove the metal stud from the right side fairing brace
with a rotary cutting tool.

10. Remove the speedometer and tachometer retaining cups
and cut out 1/2” of material on the bottom of the cups to
allow clearance for the amplifier to be installed. Reinstall the
modified gauge retention cups.

Note: The amplifier
should be installed as far back as possible to avoid interfering
with the outer fairing shell.
11. Position the J&M Amp/Bracket assembly above the radio
and slide into position. (Remove tie-straps and re-position the
factory wiring harness as needed to allow the amplifier to fit
into place properly)
12. Replace the forward radio mounting bolts and then tighten
all (4) of the mounting bolts.

13. Make Amplifier/Speaker connections according to diagram.

Note: Speakers used with J&M amplifier kit must have
an impedence rating of 2 ohms or greater (up to 16
ohms is acceptable).
