Switching Between the Input Sources
Users might experience a slight delay to the video display upon switching the input
sources. This occurs because the input and output devices need time to negotiate
with each other. The delay time varies according to each brand of the devices you
are connecting.
HDCP Compliance
This switch supports HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection), a
standard used to protect copyrighted digital content by encrypting the video signal
between the source device and the display. The standard is to be implemented in
the new generation HD DVD or Blue-ray movies or titles. To ensure a successful
display of HDCP-compliant video, it’s essential that the source, the display and the
device in between all support HDCP. If you find the high definition digital content
relegated to “sparkle” or lower resolution (480p), verify if your source device and
display is HDCP-compliant.
Display Resolution
The switch supports a resolution of up to 1080p. However, the maximum supported
resolution will depend on the capacity of your input source and display.
