Chromatic Aberration Correction
This Function corrects for the chromatic aberration of magnification caused by the
lens (i.e., when the size of the image differs at the focal point for each color (RGB)).
You can save correction data for three types of lenses. This function assumes that the
amount of deviation between the left and right is identical. If the amount of deviation
between the left and right is not identical, correction will not be performed properly.
Specify the number of pixels to shift the R channel and B channel using the G channel
as a reference. The correction range is –4.0 to +4.0 in steps of 0.1.
■
Adjustment procedure
1
Correct the R channel.
Set [Chromatic Aberration Correction Selector] to [RChannel].
Specify the amount of correction in [Chromatic Aberration Correction Lens1,2,3]
(–4.0 to +4.0 in steps of 0.1).
2
Similarly, correct the B channel.
Set [Chromatic Aberration Correction Selector] to [B Channel].
Specify the amount of correction in [Chromatic Aberration Correction Lens1,2,3]
(–4.0 to +4.0 in steps of 0.1).
3
Enable the chromatic aberration of magnification correction function.
Set [Chromatic Aberration Correction Mode] to [On].
Alternatively, select preset Lens1, Lens2, or Lens3.
