Measurement principle
The displacement measurement system operates without contact on the basis
of an eddy current.
An electromagnetic coil field induces eddy currents and this causes the resis-
tance of the built-in coil to change.

An electrical signal is produced from this change.

The controller conditions the signal ready for the user.
