MANUALLY-WOUND OR AUTOMATIC
MECHANICAL WATCHES
The accuracy of watch models with mechan-
ical movements is determined by the bal-
ance wheel. Despite all the care that the mas-
ter watchmakers of the Jaeger-LeCoultre
Manufacture have lavished on building and as-
sembling your watch, its accuracy is subject to
the influence of gravity, magnetic fields, acci-
dental impacts, and the ageing of oils. The ac-
curacy of a watch is measured by its regularity
of rate in various positions.
