(for resetting). The non-compressed gasket position (“open”) will be indicated by
an arrow (front view of watch).
Timing
- The chronograph is activated by pressing the push-piece at 2 o’clock once.
The central seconds hand will turn, and the minute and hour counters will
run. Pressing the push-piece at 2 o’clock again will stop the chronograph,
enabling the time measurement to be read.
- Reset by pressing the push-piece at 4 o’clock to be ready to perform another
time measurement.
- It is possible to add up several timing operations by pressing again on the
push-piece at 2 o’clock (without having to reset the counters).
Timing is re-started and is added to the previous measurement.
Once the timing operation is complete, move the push-pieces to the com-
pressed gasket (“closed”) position by turning the wing-nuts in the direction
shown by the arrows, i.e. a quarter-turn upward for the push-piece at 2 o’clock
(for starting and stopping), and a quarter-turn downward for the push-piece at
4 o’clock (for resetting).
World time function
Your watch features an ingenious system of world time display that can tell the
time simultaneously in 24 cities around the world.
The simultaneous reading of the time in the world’s 24 time zones is thus pos-
sible thanks to the city disc and the 24-hour turning ring. This reading necessitates
a pre-setting involving setting the local time zone by positioning the correspond-
ing city at 6 o’clock (the reference time for the mechanism).
