SKY CHART
The view of the heavens provided on the
Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Zo-
diaque watch depicts the sky above the
Northern Hemisphere.
The constellations shown on the sky chart
disc are a projected view of the sky seen
from the North Pole. It in fact represents
the visible part of the sky observed from
the 45th parallel north and the part seen
within the oval-shaped area.
Because the Earth spins both on its own
axis and around the Sun, this view, which
changes throughout the day and the year,
indicates the position of the visible stars
(inside the ellipse that appears on the sap-
phire crystal). To observe it correctly, the
wearer should be facing south and obser-
ving the watch held above his head.
The sky chart does not require any parti-
cular adjustment, since this is performed
at the same time as the calendar adjust-
ments.
