Timing
- Pressing once on the pushpiece at 2 o’clock activates the chronograph. The
central seconds hand turns and the minute and hour totaliser counters are in
operation. A second press on the pushpiece at 2 o’clock stops the chrono-
graph and enables reading of the time measured.
- Reset by pressing the pushpiece at 4 o’clock to be ready to perform another
timing operation.
- It is possible add up several timing operations by pressing again on the push-
piece at 2 o’clock (without having to reset the counters).
Timing starts again and is added to the previous measurement.
When the timing operation is completed, move the pushpieces into the
compressed seal position (“closed”) by turning the wing-nuts a quarter of a
turn downwards, in the direction shown by the arrow.
The tachometer on the fixed inner bezel ring
The tachometer is an instrument for measuring speed. The inner bezel ring on
the Master Compressor Chronograph is equipped with a scale which enables
the speed to be read in km/h, using the seconds hand between two points
one kilometre apart.
