1.
The Jacuzzi® spas are class “1” appliances and therefore they must be permanently
connected, without any intermediate connections, to the electrical system and to
the protection system (earth system).”
2.
The power supplied to this swim spa must be a dedicated circuit with no other appli-
ances or lights sharing the power provided by the circuit.
3.
The installer must use cables with a suitable cross-section, with minimum character-
istics equivalent to type H 05 VV-F.
4.
For connection to the power supply network, we recommend installing an isolating
multi-pole switch, which will en-sure complete disconnection in the event of a cat-
egory III over-voltage; these devices must be positioned in an area that com-plies
with the safety regulations.
5.
The electrical system of the building must be provided with a 0.03A differential
switch and with an efficient protection (earth) circuit. Check for proper operation of
the differential switch by pressing the TEST button, which should trip.
6.
To gain access to the swim spa’s power terminal block, pull the bottom of the door
panel to break the magnetic lock of the door to the frame. Place the door panel in a
safe location to prevent damage.
7.
Select the power supply entrance you want to use, Figure A. Make sure to install a
3/4” electrical fitting and conduit through the large opening provided in the side of
the control box so you can feed the cable through to the terminal block.
8.
Connect wires to the terminal block (please refer to the wiring diagrams at the end
of the manual).
ALL WIRES MUST BE SECURELY CONNECTED
or equipment dam-
age could result!
9.
Install the door panel back into place.
