1.
The Jacuzzi® spas are class "1" appliances and therefore they must be permanently con-
nected, without any intermediate connec ons, to the electrical system and to the pro-
tec on system (earth system)."
2.
The power supplied to this swim spa must be a dedicated circuit with no other applianc-
es or lights sharing the power provided by the circuit.
3.
The installer must use cables with a suitable cross-
sec on, with minimum characteris cs
equivalent to type H 05 VV-F.
4.
For connec on to the power supply network, we recommend installing an isola ng mul
-pole switch, which will ensure-
sure complete disconnec on in the event of a category III
over-
voltage; these devices must be posi oned in an area that com
-plies with the safety
regula ons.
5.
The electrical system of the building must be provided with a 0.03A differen al switch
and with an efficient protec on (earth) circuit. Check for proper opera on of the differ-
en al switch by pressing the TEST bu on, which should trip.
6.
The electrical circuit supplied for the swim spa must include a suitable ground fault cir-
cuit interrupter (GFCI) as required by NEC Ar cle 680
-42/USA.
7.
To gain access to the swim spa’s power terminal block, pull the bo om of the door panel
to break the magne c lock of the door to the frame. Place the door panel in a safe loca-
on to prevent damage.
8.
Select the power supply entrance you want to use, Figure A. Make sure to install a 3/4”
electrical fi ng and conduit through the large opening provided in the side of the con-
trol box so you can feed the cable through to the terminal block.
9.
Connect wires to the terminal block (Figures B-C). ALL WIRES MUST BE SECURELY CON-
NECTED or equipment damage could result!
10. Install the door panel back into place.
