Overheating
Do not get into the spa, the water may be too hot
.
- To correct the situation:
I
Remove the spa’s cover and allow your spa to cool down.
I
Program the filter settings for "Economy" mode.
I
When the water temperature drops below 44°C, the spa
will resume normal operation.
I
If the temperature does not drop below 44°C, contact a
Jacuzzi Service Centre
Keep in mind that the spa’s ability to cool is directly affected by the
ambient temperature: an excessively hot ambient temperature may
prevent the spa from cooling down because its fully insulated con-
struction is designed to retain heat and to minimize operating costs.
Panel Displays BLB
The UV lamp (Clearray® system) must be changed and the timer
reset. The message will flash alternately indicating “blb” and the
water temperature.

The panel displays FL1 or FL2
If the “FL1” message flashes on the display, this means that the flow
switch contacts are not closing when pump 1 is activated. If the “FL2”
message flashes on the display, this means that the flow switch con-
tacts are not closing perfectly. In both cases the heater is turned off.
- To correct the situation:
I
Disconnect the hot tub from the power supply.
I
Check that the water level is about 3 cm from the lowest
headrest. Add water if necessary.
I
Check for clogged/excessively dirty filter cartridge.
I
Eliminate any air locks from pump 1 by unscrewing the up-
per drain plug for a few seconds. Then screw the plug back in.
I
If the problem persists, contact an authorized Jacuzzi serv-
ice centre.
The panel shows COL
The temperature has dropped 11°C below the set temperature.
Pump 1 and the heater are activated to bring the temperature to
8 C° from the set temperature.
I
No corrective action is required.
N.B.:
this is a normal condition during the first filling of the spa, s-
ince tap water is often very cold. “COL” will only appear when the s-
pa is in Economy mode.
The panel shows ICE

I
No action is necessary; the pump and the heater are acti-
vated to circulate and heat the water until the temperature ris-
es to an appropriate value (please also refer to the “winteris-
ing” section).
