Radio
The radio can be turned on during any function, and also when
the functions are off (but with the display on). Reception is ei-
ther AM or FM. It is equipped with automatic search and al-
lows you to store up to 6 stations in the two bands.
Turning on power
• (fig. 1) Press the “ON/OFF” key. The display will show the
frequency of the last broadcaster you tuned to and the band
(AM or FM).
Adjusting Volume
• (fig. 2) Press the “VOL” key. The display will show a numer-
al between 1 and 31.
• (fig. 3) Press the “+” or “-” key to turn the volume up or down.
Every time you press the “+” or “-” key, the value shown in-
creases or decreases, up to a maximum value (31) or mini-
mum (1). If you hold down the key, the volume variation is con-
tinuous, unless you reach the maximum or minimum values.
• Once you have selected the required volume, the value con-
tinues to be displayed for about 4 seconds. After that the time
appears again.
Station selection
• (fig. 4) Press the "MEM" key. The display shows the chan-
nel and then the broadcast frequency currently in use.
• (fig. 4) To change the band type (AM or FM), press the cor-
responding button.
• To change the station, hold down the key “+” or “-” until you
reach the desired frequency. Frequency change starts out slow-
ly, and picks up speed. To fine tune the frequency, use the “+”
or “-” keys by pressing them and quickly releasing them.
NB: models with CD-tuner have and automatic station search
system. When you press the “+” or “-” keys, frequency scan-
ning begins and the radio tunes to the first station which
provides a clear signal. At the end of the scale, the search
starts again from the beginning.
• Once you have selected the required station, the frequency
value remains displayed for about 8 seconds, after this, the
time appears again.
NB: the selected station will be lost when the radio is turned
off if it is not memorized (see below).
Memorizing the stations
The memorized stations are shown on the display by the word-
ing
“CH#“
, where
#
indicates the number of the channel.
• (fig. 5) To change from one station to another, press the
"MEM" key. The display will show the channel number (“CH#”)
followed by the frequency assigned to that channel.
• Adjust the frequency and/or the type of band, following the
instructions given in the
“Station Selection” paragraph.
• Once you have selected the station to be memorized, hold
down the "MEM" key. If the value on the display is flashing, it
means that memorization has occurred.

Shutdown
• (fig. 6) Press the “ON/OFF” key again. The radio switches
off, and the time is once again shown.
If at power up you see the message
“rAno”
it means there is a
problem. Contact an authorized Jacuzzi Service Centre.
When you turn the radio back on, the volume automatically is
at the factory-set level.
