b.
Check the oil level. If it is below the maximum fill line, add recommended oil until the maximum fill line (overflowing);
c.
Put the oil tank filler cap back.
NOTE: To prevent the oil from overflowing, add it slowly and carefully as the tank capacity is small. After adding oil, check if the cap is
well placed before restarting the engine.
CAUTION!
Using a non-detergent oil or oil for 2-stroke engine may shorten the engine useful life.
CAUTION!
Do not use the engine with insufficient oil.
It may damage the engine seriously.
7.2. Recommended oil
Use an oil for 4-stroke engine that meets or exceeds the SE classification standards of the API service or higher (or equivalent). Always
read the API service label on oil bottles to make sure they include the SE rating or higher (or equivalent).
SAE 10W-30 is recommended for general use.
7.3. Checking the fuel level
Use unleaded octane 91 or higher automotive gasoline (86 octane at the pump or higher).
Never use over 30-day-of-use or contaminated gasoline nor a mixture of gasoline/oil.
Avoid letting dirt or water accumulate in the fuel tank. In case it accumulates, clean it immediately.
