5Set Up
5.1
GENERAL
A qualified technician must always do the assembly, adjustment and mower tests. The technician must know the
correct operation of this equipment.
Completely read each instruction and make sure you understand the instructions before continue with the assembly.
Look for possible hazards and obey all safety precautions.
The RIGHT and LEFT, FRONT and BEHIND the machine are given from the operator’s seat.
Order the accessories not included with this product separately. See the accessory instructions accessory for
installation and parts.

INITIAL INSPECTION _______________________________________________________
Do a visual inspection of the mower. Look for indications of wear or loose hardware. Look for any components that are
not included on the mower or damaged components. Check for fuel and oil leaks to make sure the connections are
tight. Make sure that all hoses and tubes are in good condition.
Check the fuel supply, radiator coolant level, crankcase oil level and air cleaner indicator. When the engine is cold, all
fluids must be at the full-level mark.
Check the radiator fins for dirt or grass. Clean with compressed air as required before you operate the mower.
Make sure all cutting units are adjusted to the same cutting height.

Check all tires for the correct pressure.
Test the interlock system.

Start the mower and make sure the switches, pedals and controls operate as described.
Make sure the warning lights and the alarm operate correctly.
See 4.2.8, 4.2.9, 4.2.10 and 4.2.17
Make sure that the mower does not move with the engine started and traction pedal in NEUTRAL position.

Operate the traction pedal and make sure that the mower operates in both directions. Make sure that the mower stops
when the traction pedal is released. If necessary, adjust forward and reverse speeds.

Check the adjustment of the mow speed stop.

Check the adjustment of wing deck weight transfer.

Check front deck level.

CAUTION
Do not drive the mower unless you know this type of equipment and know how to operate all controls correctly.
CAUTION
The inspection must be done each day when the engine is turned off and all fluids are cold. Lower the cutting units
to the ground, engage the parking brake, stop the engine and remove the ignition key.
