Remote Engine Oil Filter Assembly
Removal and Installation
See Figure 3-10.
1.
Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2.
Allow engine to cool completely.

NOTES
• Label all engine oil hoses and record their locations
before disconnecting to ensure correct installation.
• Close all openings with caps or plugs to prevent
contamination.
3.
Disconnect hoses (3 and 5) from remote engine oil
filter assembly (4).
4.
Remove two screws (1) and lock washers (2).
5.
Remove remote engine oil filter assembly.
Installation Note
Install remote engine oil filter assembly by reversing the
order of removal.
Coolant Recovery Tank

CAUTION
1.
Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)

Loosen hose clamps (2 and 9) and disconnect hoses
(1 and 8) from coolant recovery tank (3).
3.
Remove four screws (4), flat washers (5), lock
washers (6), nuts (7), and coolant recovery tank (3).
Installation Note
Install coolant recovery tank by reversing the order of
removal.
