TURF GUARD _____________________________________________________________

up as cores are pulled out. The pressure on the turf
guard can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing
tension on the springs

ensure the turf guard provides enough pressure to

WARNING
To prevent injury, disengage master clutch, lower
aerator head to the ground, stop engine, and
disconnect spark plug wire before making any
adjustments or performing maintenance.
Make sure the aerator is parked on a solid and level
surface. Never work on a aerator that is supported
only by a jack. Always use jack stands.
If only the front or rear of the aerator is raised, place
chocks in front of and behind the wheels that are not
raised.
!
CAUTION
Be careful to prevent entrapment of the hands and
fingers between moving and fixed components of the
aerator.
WARNING
To prevent injury, support upper frame with blocks
when working on aerator with aerator head raised.
Hydraulic lines may rupture or lever could be
accidentally tripped, causing aerator head to drop
rapidly.
