Not enough heat or too
much heat on the soleplate
- The temperature dial is not set to the
correct temperature.
- The iron is unplugged
- Set the temperature
dial to the appropriate
temperature according to
the fabric to be ironed.
- Plug in the appliance.
No steam or leakage
The temperature dial has been set to
MIN.
Set the temperature dial to
higher temperature.
No surge of steam or no
vertical steam
- There is not enough water in the tank.
- The temperature dial has been set to
MIN.
- The shot of steam button has been
used too often between each press
within a very short period.
- The water tank must be
at least 1/4 full of water.
- Set the thermostat to
high temperature.
- The iron should be in the
horizontal position. Press
the Burst of Steam button
briefly. Allow short time
intervals between shots.
Make sure to press the
burst of steam button
fully.
Leaking water from the
soleplate
The tank is filled with water more than
the maximum indication.
Pour out the extra water
from the tank.
Little steam output
- The steam knob may be in “0” position.
- The steam holes are blocked.
- There is not enough water in the tank.
- Set the steam knob to
the desired steam level.
- Perform the self clean
procedure.
- Fill the tank with water as
described in the section
“Filling the Water Tank”.

No spraying
- There is not enough pressure or there
is air inside.
- There is not enough water in the tank.
- Press the spray
button several times
continuously.
- Fill the tank with water as
described in the section
“Filling the Water Tank”.
