from the IZZY range.
Important Safeguards
When using your kettle, basic safety
precautions should always be followed
including the following:
• Please read instructions carefully and keep
them for future reference.
• Before connecting the kettle, check if
the voltage indicated on the appliance
(underside of kettle or base unit)
corresponds with the mains voltage in your
home. If this is not the case, contact an
authorized BENRUBI service centre and do
not use the kettle.
• The appliance is designed exclusively for
private use and for the intended purpose as
indicated in the instructions manual.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Keep the appliance away from any source
of heat, direct sunlight, humidity and sharp
edges.
• Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it
immediately and do not use it.
• Ensure that the kettle is always operated on
a flat and stable surface.
• Use only cold water when filling the kettle.
• If operated on wooden furniture, use a
protective pad to prevent damage to delicate
finishes.
• Do not operate or place any part of this
appliance on or near any hot surfaces (such
as gas or electric burner or in a heated
oven).
• Do not leave the cord hanging over the
edge of a table or counter. Do not allow the
cord touching hot surfaces.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, children or those
with lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
• Keep children well away and ensure that
users are fully aware of the danger of
escaping hot steam and splashing boiling
water!
• Never yank on the cord as this may damage
the cord and eventually cause a risk of
electric shock.
• Regularly check the plug and lead of the
appliance for wear and damage.
• If the supply cord is damaged do not use
the appliance, and contact an authorized
BENRUBI service centre.
• Never try to repair the appliance on your
own and contact an authorised Benrubi
Service Centre.
• Avoid touching the hot surfaces of the kettle.
Use the handle.
• To avoid scalding, always ensure the lid is
correctly shut before use.
• To avoid possible steam damage, turn the
spout away from walls or cabinets when
operating the kettle.
• Switch off and unplug from the outlet before
filling, emptying or cleaning the kettle, or
when not in use.
• The water level must be between 1,5Lt and
0,5Lt.
