2 Installation

2.1

SD card installation

The software (FPGA design, Linux, drivers, scripts and optional add-ons)
needed for the IXXAT Econ 100 is contained on the SD card provided. This
must be installed in the SD card slot on the IXXAT Econ 100. Access to the
SD card slot can be found on the back of the unit. Refer to chapter 3.2.8.

2.2

Hardware installation

No special hardware installation is required to operate the IXXAT Econ 100.

2.3

Assembly

The IXXAT Econ 100 must be mounted vertically to achieve optimum thermal
convection. This orientation is already provided by the tophat rail mounting.
