Indicators
The IXXAT Econ 100 has seven Duo LEDs as well as a green power LED.
These LEDs are used to display the communications status of the interfaces
and/or to display device status and mode. The seven Duo LEDs can be con-
trolled by the software. The meaning of the LEDs depends on the application
loaded and is described in the corresponding software manual. The RJ45 con-
nectors also each have two LEDs that display the status of the corresponding
Ethernet port.
3.3.1 PWR-LED
The PWR LED indicates the status of the power supply. If all voltages in the
device have their nominal values, then the LED lights up in green.
3.3.2 ERR-LED
The ERR LED indicates a general error in the device. The exact meaning de-
pends on the application.
3.3.3 STAT-LED
The STAT LED indicates the status of the device. The exact meaning depends
on the application.
3.3.4 MOD-LED
The MOD LED indicates the mode of the device. The exact meaning depends
on the application.
3.3.5 IE 1/IE 2-LEDs
The IE 1 and IE 2 LEDs indicate the status and error state of Industrial Ether-
net communications. The meaning of the LEDs depends on the implemented
Industrial Ethernet protocol.
3.3.6 CAN 1/CAN 2 LEDs
The CAN 1 and CAN 2 LEDs indicate error state and status of the correspond-
ing CAN channel. The meaning of the LEDs depends on the CAN protocol im-
plemented.
3.3.7 LAN 1 LEDs
The two LEDs built into the RJ45 connector are used to indicate the status of
the LAN 1 Ethernet port. The yellow LED shows the link status, the green LED
shows the activity.
