Remove the acoustic actuator from the frame. Refer to PM01 step 3.

Step Action
1.
Set the acoustic actuator horizontally.
2.
Using a “ Allen ” hexagonal key size 10, remove the screw (ref.: 910 1388) on the
opposite side of the acoustic head. Hold the head during operation (dropping hazard).
3.
Extract the acoustic head. Disconnect the connector.
4.
Extract the other part (on releasing side). The electronic equipment and battery packs
are directly secured on this cover.
1.
Remove the three M3 screws of the battery circuit (fixing of the printed circuit board).
2.
Remove the three battery packs (3 packs of six R20 alkaline batteries), either by
inclining the unit to slide the batteries out, or by pulling them. The batteries are soldered
together to overcome the effects of high impact loads during some launching operations.
3.
Replace with new ones, individually tested, and respect their polarity.
4.
Secure the battery connection printed circuit board.
5.
End of procedure.
