6.5.  Preparation for Storage   

 

- After recovery, inspect the exterior of the Acoustic Release for corrosion or damage due to 
buffeting. 
- Remove any marine growth and clean with fresh water. 
- Re-arm the release hook if necessary.  
- For long term storage, it is recommended to remove the batteries from the unit to avoid
