Shipping Package Contents Overview
The shipping package for the FireStorm ONE will contain the following items:

1 – FireStorm ONE Appliance
n
1 – AC input cable
n
2 – 10’ DB9 serial cables
n
2 – 10’ CAT6 Ethernet cables
n
1 – Hard Drive Module
n
1 – USB Thumb Drive containing the factory software image
n
4 – 10’ short-reach or long-reach fiber optic cables (depending on transceiver selection)
n
4 – 10Gb/1Gb SFP+ Optical Transceivers (short-reach or long-reach)
n
6 – 10’ 1Gb copper ENET, CAT6 Transceivers
n
6 – 1Gb SFP Copper GigE optical TXVCR
n
4 – 10-32 x .75 pan screws
n
1 – Hardware Mounting Kit
Installation Overview
This section will briefly describe how to set up the FireStorm ONE.
To set up the FireStorm ONE:
1. Secure the appliance into an equipment rack. For more information on securing the appliance
into an equipment rack, see the section Mounting the Appliance into an Equipment
Rack on page 30 .
Note: The appliance must be close enough to the device under test so that you can connect
cables from the appliance to the device under test.
2. Power on the system. For more information on powering on the system, see the section
Powering the System on page 33 .
3. Connect the device under test to the FireStorm ONE. For more information on connecting a
device under test to the FireStorm ONE, see the section Connecting a Device Under Test
to the FireStorm ONE on page 34 .
