3 Measurement Procedure
3.1 Notes on Use
To avoid short circuits and potentially life-threatening hazards,
follow these precautions.
•
Be sure to use this instrument on an insulated circuit.
Moreover, do not use it for the bare conductor.
•
Be careful to avoid damaging the insulation surface of the
insulated target conductor to be measured.
•
This instrument is made for use with PS-52 or PS-54
POWER SUPPLY. It is possible to use a power supply
other than PS-52 and PS-54, provided that the connector
and pin assignments match, and that voltage and other
electrical specifications are satisfied. Even in that case for
safety, make sure that the power supply has a protective
earth.
•
Be sure to observe all operating precautions for the
waveform monitoring instrument (oscilloscope or recorder)
and other measurement instruments to which this
instrument is connected
