 Installing canister

Install a canister following the procedure below.

Be aware that if a canister is installed incorrectly, unexpected dangers may result.

Make sure that there is no source of ignition nearby.

Turn the knob towards the minus (-) symbol direction

all the way and make sure that it is closed.

Remove the canister cap of the canister.

Make sure that the guide (protrusion) is in the

correct guide position.

 Caution

Install the canister

correctly

If the canister is installed

tilted, liquid gas may enter the

main unit, which may cause

the flame to become larger

during ignition. Install the

canister horizontally.

Do not twist with

excessive force when

attaching or removing a

canister

Excessive force will damage

the canister holder.

When it is difficult to install the canister

(because force is required), apply a thin

coat of vegetable oil to the tip of the

canister (Part   in the illustration below).

Notice

The following canisters can be used with this product:

Iwatani Butane Fuel and FORE WINDS Butane Fuel.

Because of the difference of the outer diameter of the canister, a slight amount

of rattling occurs on tables and other flat surfaces, but this does not indicate a

malfunction.

Always use a fuel canister labeled as “Iwatani Butane Fuel” or “FORE WINDS Butane Fuel”
