Refer to the manual that came with your TV, receiver, or 

other device for the location of its ports.
Note: If your iPod doesn’t support video, you can use the 

Composite AV Cable for syncing content and charging.
•   If you experience issues with connectivity of Audio or 

Video this can be caused by the 30 pin connector  

becoming loose from your Apple device. Please make 

sure it is connected firmly to the device and not moved 

while being used.

•   Depending on your TV you may not be able to listen to 

Audio without a video being played. This is due to  

limitations of the TV.

•   When connected you will not see your apple display on 

your TV. Picture/audio will only be displayed when  

playing movies , audio and pictures from your mobile 

device.

•   Pictures can only be viewed by starting Slide Show in 

Apple Photos app or similar app.

Charging

 

To charge you Apple device this cable requires a  

‘high-power’ USB 2.0 socket (min 1A) to charge the iPad  

from a PC.
