WARNING:
If you are unable to maintain balance on the Hoverboard-Smart
Balance while stationary then you should not proceed to attempting to move
the Hoverboard-Smart Balance.
Move
Once you are able to balance while the Hoverboard-Smart Balance is stationary
you should then proceed to small movement. You should move your weight
slightly forward so that the Hoverboard-Smart Balance move straight forward.
Don’t lunge forward or lean excessively, as you may lose your balance.Then
bring the Hoverboard-Smart Balance to stop by moving your weight back to
the center. Then move your weight slightly backwards so the Hoverboard-Smart
Balance moves straight backwards to your original starting position. You need
to be able to complete these manoeuvres multiple times and with ease before
proceeding further.
Control
Shifting your weight forward will cause the wheels to move forward.
Shifting your weight backward will cause the wheels to move backward.
Shifting your weight to the left will cause the device to turn to the left.
Shifting your weight to the right will cause the device to turn to the right.
Centering your weight will cause the device to stop.
WARNING:
Do not turn sharply in the case of high speed to avoid injury or
death.
Note:
The recommended top speed of the Hoverboard-Smart Balance is ap-
proximately 10 km/h. Speed may be affected by rider weight, surface condi-
tions, battery charge, etc.The Hoverboard-Smart Balance has a “limiter” feature
which may engage to warn against further acceleration beyond recommended
levels.This safety feature causes the front edge of the foot platforms to “push
back” against the rider’s feet to caution about excessive speed. Do not attempt
to override this safety feature by continuing acceleration because risks of failing
may greatly increase.
Get Off
You need to return the device to a stationary position by shifting your weight
back to the center and waiting for the wheels to stop moving. Once the wheels
have stopped moving and while maintaining your balance, quickly remove one
foot and place it flat on the ground behind you. Then remove the other foot.
