(3) The Freeloader Isis also has a USB socket placed on the bottom of the
unit. If you have a special USB cable that charges your device this is where you
need to put it. Then simply connect it to your device as normal. This is the best way
of charging any older Apple devices that use the 30 pin connector or non micro
USB phones / devices. Press the blue power button to start charging.
Isis will then charge your device until either your device is full or the Freeloader Isis
battery is low on power. An indication of the power available is shown on the Isis
LCD screen.

Please note:
The power output of the freeloader Isis is 1 amp. If your device needs a
higher current to charge then the Freeloader Isis will not be able to charge it.
Fitting the gel case onto the Isis
Slide the base of the freeloader isis into the bottom of the gel case (the end of the
LCD screen). Once inserted push the remaining part of the isis into the gel case and
stretch the case round to fit.
Charging the Isis from the Supercharger
(Optional extra)
Connect the supercharger to the
‘power in’
socket on the freeloader
Isis with the
‘Blue’
cable supplied
with the Supercharger. You should
see the supercharger icon displayed
on the freeloader Isis LCD screen.
This will now give the freeloader Isis a Real Boost in charging taking the average
charge time via solar down to as little as 6 hours. It will work in conjunction with the
panel on the Freeloader Isis, however you are also able to
place the Freeloader Isis into a bag and not use its built in solar panel if using
a supercharger. The supercharger can then be attached to your backpack,
cycle panniers etc.
Caring for your Freeloader Isis
If your Freeloader Isis gets mucky simply wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth.
Please remember to charge the Freeloader Isis via USB every 3 months to keep the
battery in top condition.
