GENERAL OPERATING FEATURES:
Panic exit device lock (see relative articles) i.e. for pairing with panic exit device on the internal side and handle plate on the external side.
From the inside the panic exit device (see relative articles) controls the opening of the door regardless of whether or not the lock is
powered or the position of the throw. The external handle can only open the door if:
•
it is rotated whilst the lock is powered electrically;
•
the key has released the handle.
The power supply to the lock with 12V AC/DC must not last for more than 15/20 secs, with a duty cycle of no less than 1:5
For the "hold-open device" feature, the hold voltage must not exceed 7 Vac.
Operating temperature-20°C+80°C
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS:
The electrical system must be installed in full conformity with the regulations in force.
Before connecting up the system, check that the power supply output voltage is equal to the required rated voltage and that the
wattage/current supplied is greater/equal to the level required.
The lock must be powered by a 12Vcc power supply unit.
Check that the electrical system is disconnected from the mains before connecting the cables and/or any subsequent interventions.
Correct functioning of the lock can not be guaranteed with a power line voltage of under 7 Vcc.
The power cables have no poles.
Connect the cables that protrude from the lock directly to the power cables and insulate the coupling points as required.
Always use cable with a diameter of no less than 1mm2.
Check that the wires do not come into contact with any sharp edges.
After completing the connection, check that it does not short-circuit.
INSTALLATION:
Check that the screws used to fasten the panic exit device and the handle plates do not interfere with the lock.
Before mounting the handle, check it rotates freely without pressure.
Check that the length of the panel is suitable for the thickness of the door.
Check that the length of the cylinder is suitable for the thickness of the door.
INSPECTION TO BE PERFORMED AFTER INSTALLATION
Check that the handle returns spontaneously and simultaneously to the home position.
Turn the key to the closed position.
Power up the lock whilst rotating the handle to check the latch retainer.
Disconnect the power supply and check that the handle rotates freely without the latch retainer.
Turn back the key to the open position.
Turn the handle and check the latch retainer.
The product complies with EC Directive 2004/108/CE, transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree no. 194/2007 relative to
