Correct operating instructions
Preparation: (please see the engine manual)

HE ENGINE IS DELIVERED WITHOUT OIL
.
A good quality, 10W30 type oil should be used.
- Fill the tank with 98 octane, unleaded petrol without overflowing. In case of splashes, wipe with a cloth.

Never put the fuel in a hot engine,
wait for it to cool, using a funnel or something else to avoid splashing.
- Only fill with petrol outside.
Starting and stopping the engine
Before starting the engine, make sure that no-one is in the danger zone of the tools, or near the engine. Stand at the
back of the machine. Open the petrol tap, if there is one, place the lever of the engine on Start or Choke; Do the same
thing with the acceleration controller on the handlebar. Grasp the handle of the starting mechanism and pull hard to
engage the engine. When the engine starts turning, place the engine handle on RUN or MINI and adjust the speed with
the acceleration control.
Do not allow the engine to run idle, start to work as soon as possible.
Reduce the speed of the engine before stopping it and place the acceleration control on the handlebar to STOP.
Then, shut the fuel supply following the instructions in the engine manual
Use
- Only work during daylight hours.
- Walk, never run with the machine.
- Change direction very carefully on sloping
ground.
- Reverse direction or pull the machine towards
you very carefully.
- Do not change the adjustments of the speed
regulation of the engine and do not use the
engine too fast.
- Avoid working on a wet lawn or take every
precaution to avoid slipping.
