Network
4.1.1
LAN interface
LVLØ controller has built in 10/100 Ethernet LAN interface. Connect LAN cable to
connector 31
(details in
section 2.2.2). IP Address setting will be assigned using DHCP by your home network router. In computer
networking, a hostname (archaically node name) is a label that is assigned to a device connected to a
computer network and that is used to identify the device. LVLØ hostname is “LVLØ” on the network.
You can check newly assigned IP
address via free IP scan tool like Angry
IP Scanner:
You can test your connection with
LVLØ mobile application or web
browser. Via browser you should see
similar screen:
NOTE:
It is recommended to set DHCP
reservation and always assign same
address to LVLØ controller. DHCP
Reservation, which will reserve
specific IP for LVLØ on connected
network, will avoid further hassles
with connections.
