NTRODUCTION
1. Introduction
The RAPTOR® iMX950 is an Intelligent Cyber Secure Platform running the iBiome OS. The iBiome is an
all-encompassing operating system that supports switching and routing on a single platform. RAPTOR has
been designed for future scalability. Its modular system of field replaceable line blocks, hot swappable
power supplies, and its ability to run third party software applications makes it a very flexible platform
for today and the future.
In this document iMX950 and RAPTOR are used interchangeably.

Networking Security
The iMX950 model of the RAPTOR series supports security
features such as IPSec, NAT and a stateful firewall.
