1. Position the sharpener on the mounting surface so that the mounting stop butts up against the
vertical edge of the surface.
2. Using the base as a template, mark locations of mounting holes.
3. Drill pilot holes appropriate for the proper hardware (sold separately) at the marked locations.
4. Align mounting holes with pilot holes, and then secure the base with the hardware.

Inspect the general condition of the tool. Check for: loose hardware, misalignment or binding of
moving parts, cracked or broken parts, damaged electrical wiring, and any other condition that
may affect its safe operation.

Do not use grinding wheels that have a max RPM less than the marked RPM rating on the tool.
Keep hands clear from grinding wheel during use.

Do not use for wet grinding.
Do not use wheel if cracked or chipped.
Disconnect tools before servicing; when changing accessories, such as blades, bits, cutters, and
the like.
