3.3.2 Antenna Connector
The 9522B LBT provides a single 50
Ω , SMA type antenna connector. This mates with a standard SMA
plug, for example Radiall R125.072.000 (straight) or R125.172.000 (right-angle). An adaptor is available
to convert this connector to TNC to enable the 9522B to be used as a replacement for a 9522A.
This port must be connected to an approved antenna, located with a clear view of the sky. If the GPS
feed-through is being used then this antenna must also have sufficient sensitivity at GPS frequencies.
