The carbon brushes must be removed and checked 

regularly. Weekly if the machine is used daily. The two 

carbon brushes (A) and (B) are located on the front and 

back side of the motor. 

Untighten carbon brush retainer cap with 

standard screwdriver.

Remove carbon brush retainer cap. 

Remove carbon brush.

INSPECTING AND REPLACING THE CARBON BRUSHES

Inspect carbon brush and replace it necessary

Install carbon brush making sure to align tabs into slots.

Tighten carbon brush retainer cap to secure.
