Displaying the tilt angle to the reference surface
For displaying the tilt angle of the sensor to the reference surface, FLEX MOUNT must not be activated and in
the measuring field must not be an object. The output will be ---- for EDGE LEFT RISING of the object.
Finding the reference point without a teached reference surface
Once an object is within the measuring range, the position of LEFT EDGE RISING and the angle of the
surface of the object relative to the axis "End of measuring range"
are displayed.
When moving the object into the direction of the assumed reference point until LEFT EDGE RISING displays
0mm, the reference point is found.
Finding the reference point with the teached reference surface
Although the sensor was mounted inclined, the sensor outputs an angle of 0° after teaching the reference
surface with FLEX MOUNT. As soon there is an object within the measuring range, the sensor outputs the
LEFT EDGE RISING of this object and also the difference of the angle from top of the object to the reference
surface.
When moving the object into the direction of the assumed reference point until LEFT EDGE RISING displays
0mm, the reference point is found.
