General notes

If you want to use your scooter, you must first find out whether and
how your IO HAWK may be used in the respective country.
•
The Scooter is designed to carry one person only.
•
Any intervention to increase power, speed and generally to change
the characteristics of the scooter or to open the battery
compartment will invalidate the warranty.
•
The scooter’s chassis number is located on the side of the battery
compartment. Please make a note of this number to be able to call it
if necessary for example to have it ready for service cases.
•
As part of our quality assurance, each IO HAWK undergoes several
test drives and charging cycles. However, before first use, please
check all parts for proper function and the screw connections for
tightness. In particular, the folding mechanism must also be checked
for correct functioning. Please also have your scooter checked after
50 km by your dealer or a bicycle repair shop with regard to brakes,
strength of all screws, especially the scooter’s folding mechanism
and the handlebars’ folding mechanism. Every 500 km we
recommend to have these components checked again.
