Section 4.3:
MR Scan Recommendations
The following steps should be followed on DynaCAD to
ensure proper data preparation for use with UroNav:
1. Configure DynaCAD to automatically calculate the
gland segmentation using the recommended T2W
Axial High Resolution images.
2. Optimize the gland segmentation on the T2 and
approve it using the
Approve
button.
3. Draw 2D or 3D (preferred) ROIs for each target asso-
ciated with T2W Axial High Resolution images. Create
additional sub ROI targets if desired.
4. Characterize the ROIs / targets using the PI-RADS
menu.
5. Save all the target results using the
Save All
button.
6. Select the following series to export DynaCAD data
to an external media device or network DICOM
connection
- T2W Axial high resolution series
- DynaCAD STL Prostate Boundary series
- DynaCAD ROI Series
T2W Axial High Resolution
Slice coverage from bladder to pubis, with slices
angled perpendicular to the prostate/rectal
plane.
