4.8 Programme Search
Using the “OK/Menu“ key, call up the Main
Menu, select the sub-menu “Channel Search“ and an
automated channel search process starts.
4.9 Product information
In the last category of the Settings display you will find
detailed technical information relating to the product.
These might be relevant for the after sales services.
Especially, the SW built date can be seen in this information
window.
The sub-display “Product Information“ provides you with all
data relating to the hardware and software of the receiver.
Each unit has an own unique serial number (Product ID).
When making service calls it is important to specify the
hardware version applicable, as the technician then knows
exactly which components, circuit boards, etc. have been
used in the unit.
4.10 Software Download
The receiver software can be updated via the antenna and
can thus be kept up to date at all times.
How to start a Software Update:
Press the OK/Menu key
to call up the Main Menu, then select “Settings“. Here you
should select the sub-display “Software Download“.
Now, either you choose the Auto mode, select option 6
“Start Scan” and press the OK/menu to start the update
process or you fill all the technical information about the
transponder in your country and press the OK/menu with
“Start Scan” selected to start the Software Update process.
Please contact your local retailer for obtaining the technical
details of the transponder in your country if the Auto Mode
is not working.
