Usage
Installing Backrest Support
1.
Place the Backrest Support
A
on the head end of the
bed. The backrest can be used on top or under the
mattress depending on the mattress type in use.
2.
Place motor
B
beside mattress.

CAUTION!
Risk Of Injury
To avoid injury from product misuse:
– Ensure straps are free from slides and other
moving parts.
– Periodically check that the tension and
placement of the backrest support straps
remains intact. Adjust as necessary.

Place the first strap

as close as possible to the
Backrest Support hinges.
2.
Place second strap
B
as close as possible to head end
of bed.
3.
If possible, wrap straps around both bed frame and
mattress, then tighten. Be careful not overtighten straps.
Adjusting Backrest Support Angle
WARNING!
Risk Of Injury
To avoid injury due to tripping hazards, and/or
entangled, pinched, or severed cords:
– Ensure that all cord(s) are routed and secured
properly.
– Keep all moving parts free of obstruction (i.e.
blankets/sheets, tubing, wiring, cords, etc.)
during operation.

Press the up

arrows on the hand controls
to adjust the angle of the Backrest Support.
2.
Release button when desired angle is reached.
Changing Motor Position
WARNING!
Risk of Injury
To avoid injury from spinning motor:
– Do not rotate motor unit more than one
complete turn.
– Ensure cable is not too tight.
