Section 6 - Troubleshooting
Below are a few common troubleshooting issues that you can likely solve on your own. If your
issue is not shown on this list or the solutions do not solve your issue, contact the Interscan
Service dept. for further assistance.
Symptom
Corrective Action or Probable Cause
Controller shows
communication error:
“Offline” or “Error
Connection:
Sensor!”
•
Check all cable connections for firm connection.
•
Power down both the Sensor module and the Controller.
Wait several seconds then power up the Sensor module
followed by the Controller one minute later.
•
Power down the Accusafe components as well as your
Ethernet hub/router then power everything back up.
Alarm function not
working.
•
Confirm that alarm is enabled for the desired panel on the
alarms page (right side radio button).
•
Confirm that the set point is selected in the “Greater Than”
column of the alarm parameters.
Sensor
output
not
displayed on sensor
measurement screen.
•
Check that the sensor is enabled in the sensor
’s panel.
