Firmware upgrade
bar code that
appears on the screen then click
OK

Display help
check box. Click

For RS-232 cables only, scan the
Firmware upgrade
bar code that
appears on the screen and click
OK.
Note:
If your scanner cannot scan the bar code on your computer
“Problems and Possible Solutions” on page 39
to find
the firmware upgrade bar code. Print the page out and scan the bar
code.

You can find the COM port by opening the Windows
Device
Manager
(Open the Windows
Control Panel
and click on
System
. Click on the
Hardware
tab and then click on the
Device
Manager
button.). The Intermec Virtual COM port is listed under
Ports (COM & LPT)
