1. Thread the lower stake (C) into the upper stake (B).
2. Thread the assembled stake (B & C) into the timer (A).
NOTE:
Be sure to firmly tighten the stake to the body before installing into the ground.
3. Insert the stake 6 inches into the ground.
4. Plug the yard stake three-prong plug (D) into a GFCI-protected grounded outlet.
5. Push the outlet button (E) to turn on the device.
LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY
If within the warranty period specified, this product fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, Intermatic
Incorporated will repair or replace it, at its sole option, free of charge. This warranty is extended to the original
household purchaser only and is not transferable. This warranty does not apply to: (a) damage to units caused
by accident, dropping or abuse in handling, acts of God or any negligent use; (b) units which have been subject
to unauthorized repair, opened, taken apart or otherwise modified; (c) units not used in accordance with
instructions; (d) damages exceeding the cost of the product; (e) sealed lamps and/or lamp bulbs, LED’s and
batteries; (f) the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered
normal wear and tear; (g) transit damage, initial installation costs, removal costs, or reinstallation costs.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS • SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open the dial cover (F) on the timer and then move the timer
switch to the T (timer) position.
2. Turn the timer dial (G) clockwise until the current time (in hours) is
directly above the gray dot.
3. Pull the applicable trippers up to set the event OFF time and then
push the applicable trippers down to set the desired ON time.
4. Plug your electrical device into an outlet on the timer (A).
5. Turn your electrical device ON to enable the timer to control the
device.
Operation:
WARNING
Risk of Fire or Electrical Shock
•
Connect only to an outdoor receptacle protected by a Ground Fault
Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
• Connect directly to an outdoor receptacle with a “while in use” weatherproof cover.
• Mount at least 6" above ground. Do not lay product on ground while in use.
• Do not exceed rated capacity of connected extension cord or timer.
NOTICE
•
No user serviceable parts inside.
•
Do not immerse in water.
•
Not for permanent installation. Use only with outdoor equipment, Christmas-tree, or other seasonal deco-
rative-lighting products having a total of 15 Ampere maximum. Do not install or use this product for more
than a 90-day period.
•
If using Christmas tree or decorative-lighting products that are not marked with an ampere rating, connect
no more than 140 screw-base lamps (C7 or C9) or 12 strings with midget (pushin) lamps to this cord set.
•
Cord sets shall be plugged into a GFCI-protected receptacle.
•
If using an outdoor-use cord set for an extended period of time (greater than 90 days) install a permanent
outdoor-use receptacle rated for year-round use in the area that power is needed. Contact a licensed
electrician for proper installation of permanent wiring.

En cas d’utilisation avec un sapin de Noël ou autre produit d’éclairage décoratif dont la consommation nominale (ampères)
n’est pas indiquée, ne pas raccorder plus de 140 ampoules à douille à vis (C7 ou C9) ou 12 guirlandes à mini-ampoules (à
enfoncer) à ce cordon électrique.
