Projektering van de detector
De detector is een geverifieerde PIR en dient zodanig
geïnstalleerd te worden dat een maximale PIR detectie wordt
bereikt. De beste detectie wordt derhalve bereikt bij een
verwachte bewegingsrichting van een indringer haaks of
diagonaal door het detectie veld. Zie figuur 7
–9.
De gebruikte dual detectiemethodes maken deze detector zeer
ongevoelig voor ongewenste alarmen. Vermijd echter zoveel
mogelijk stoorbronnen die de detector onstabiel maken, zoals:
Voor PIR (passief infrarood):
•
Direct zonlicht op de detector
•
Warmtebronnen binnen het waarnemingsveld
•
Sterke luchtstromen op de detector
•
Dieren binnen het waarnemingsveld
Voor radar:
•
Trillingsgevoelig montageoppervlak
•
Metalen oppervlakken die de radarenergie terugkaatsen
•
Waterstroming door plastic pijpen
•
Verwarmings- of airconditioningsbuizen die recht op de
detector gericht zijn
UTC Fire & Security adviseert om regelmatig een Looptest van
de detector uit te voeren en het resultaat op het controlepaneel
te verifiëren.

1. Verwijder de afdekplaat (item 1) zoals aangegeven (A,
B, C).
2. Open de detector (item 2) en deksel (fig. 5).
3.
Naargelang de configuratie één of beide kabelopening(en)
(figuur 1, item 7) uitbreken.
