The system does not allow the normal user to stay in the HSR without HSU
inside, so the last high security user will not be permitted to leave the high
security area if there are normal users inside.
Note:
Privileged users are still allowed to access the regions where the limits for
users or high security users are exceeded. See also “Users” on page 112.
Set HSU options in “Expander devices > Region/HSU Configuration tab” on page
92.
High security user requires the Access user type option to be set to High Security
User.
See also “Users” on page 112.
Alarm control by region
If the alarm control by region is enabled, the last user leaving the region assigned

it.
To configure the functionality, do the following:
• Set the following options in Expander > Region/HSU Configuration tab:
- Set the region number for alarm control
-
Enable “Alarm control by region” on page 94.
-
If necessary, enable “Delayed Arming” on page 94. If enabled, the keypad
will prompt to activate a delay for the set. See
Advisor Advanced ATSx500A
Installation and Programming Manual
for more details on the delayed set.
- Set the required alarm control levels in
“Alarm Levels 1..6” on page 94.
These levels define the areas that should be set or unset.
• Set the following options in Doors > Shunt/RTE/AntiPassback tab:
- Set the region being set in
- Set
“Out region” on page 106 to the number of the region that users are
moved to after the area is set.
• Set the following options in Doors > Alarm control tab:
- Set the
“IN alarm control” on page 110 to Alarm control via region count.
-
