Doors
The following is a suggested programming sequence for door controller doors:
1. Program hardware options for each door.
2. Assign readers to each door.
3. Program access options for each door.
4. Program shunt, passback and RTE options for each door.
5. Program alarm control for each door, if necessary.
Click Doors on the Panel data to open the Doors list.
Door tab
The tab contains general door settings.

Hardware tab
Hardware options for a door are configured on the
Hardware
tab of the Doors
form.
The following settings are available.
Lock type
To support simple programming of complex door operation, CDC4 has various
lock types, with associated inputs, outputs and timers. The lock type determines
which inputs and outputs are used and how they are used.
The lock types are:
• Strike
• Maglock / drop bolt

Devices location
The group contains various input and output locations described below.
Program the locations using the scheme described in the “Flexible device
locations
” section on page 63.
