Installing the Hardware
Refer to your computer’s documentation for instructions on opening
and closing the computer, identifying PCI expansion slots, disabling
system board graphics devices (if present), and adding expansion
boards.
Add Texture Memory
If you want to add texture memory to an Intense 3D Pro 2200S board,
do so before you install the board in the computer.
To add texture memory:
1. Place the Intense 3D Pro 2200S board on a solid, flat, non-static
surface.
2. Remove the screw from the standoff attached to the board near the
texture memory module connectors. See the following figure.
3. Align the two connectors on the texture memory module with the
two texture memory module connectors on the board. See the
following figure.
4. Push the module firmly onto the board. Apply even pressure to the
entire module to seat it firmly in the connectors.
5. Install the screw through the module and the standoff to secure the
module to the board. See the following figure.
