IN DECK INSTALLATION
REQUIREMENTS
:
To complete an in deck/in ground volleyball game set installation, you will need Box #1 and either Box #3
OR
Box #4 to fulfill the necessary parts required.
V-Ball Box #1
(in deck - in ground kit)
Includes 2 volleyball poles, 16’ net, volleyball, pump, plastic escutcheons, and hardware.
V-Ball Box #3
(two (2) bronze anchors)
V-Ball Box #4
(two (2) plastic anchors with rebar)
STEP ONE:
Volleyball poles must be anchored into
deck with either the bronze 6” anchors or the 8” plastic
anchors with rebar. Position the anchors 12” from the
edge on the pool (as shown in Fig. 4) on the shallow end
of the pool. Anchors must be level and flush with the
top of the finished deck surface (as shown in Fig. 3).
Ground bronze anchors (if used) in accordance with
local codes. Both anchors are supplied with caps which
can be used if the poles are removed.
NOTE:
Volleyball net is 16’ in length, but with attachment
cords, it can span up to a maximum 22’ distance between
poles.
CHECK YOUR LOCAL ELECTRICAL CODE FOR
BONDING REQUIREMENTS.
CONCRETE MUST FULLY CURE BEFORE POLES ARE
INSERTED INTO ANCHORS.
STEP TWO:
Slip the volleyball poles into the anchors.
Place the plastic escutcheons over the poles.
STEP THREE:
Attach the 4-1/4” x 2” eyebolts with the
4-1/4” acorn nuts (as shown in Fig. 5). Insert the black
caps in the pole tops.
STEP FOUR:
Attach the net to the eyebolts on the
poles and wrap any extra netting around one of the
poles. Secure any loose netting and cords.
