Cooling
A three-fan module, the power supply fan and ducting provide the necessary airflow to cool the
system.
3.1 Fan
Assembly
The primary airflow for the system is provided by a removable plastic fan housing which secures
up to four 60mm x 38mm multi-speed fans. The base system ships with three fans, and a blank
panel to prevent air re-circulation. Adding a fourth fan provides conditional airflow redundancy. If
one of the fans should fail, the remaining two will increase their rotation and attempt to maintain
the thermal requirements of the system.
