The Intel

Raid Controller SRCS28X conforms to the 

PCI-X Local Bus Specification, Revision 

1.0a

 and is backward compatible with previous revisions of the PCI specification. The Intel

Raid 

Controller SRCS28X supports the

 Serial ATA Specification, version 1.0

, and 

Serial ATA II 

Extensions to Serial ATA 1.0, Revision 1.0

The Intel

® 

Raid Controller SRCS28X

 

is an intelligent RAID controller that provides eight Serial 

ATA ports and support RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 10, and RAID 50. The Intel

® 

Raid 

Controller SRCS28X does the following:

Supports eight Serial ATA ports:

— Uses differential signalling

— Transfers data in frames

— Supports Serial ATA power management

Are compliant with the PCI-X and PCI 2.3 Specifications

Support up to a 64-bit/133 MHz PCI-X interface:

— Function in a 64-bit PCI slot

— Function at 133 MHz, 100 MHz, or 66 MHz

— Support 3.3 V
